School .  The story of my move dates back to March, when my husband applied for a position here in Swift Current.  He really didn’t think that he was going to get the promotion, but he did.  But, I wasn’t going to move without seeing the place first!  When we came down to check out the ‘town’, the decision was easy to make.  What a great place to raise a family.  We were sold!  Now I just needed to get a job.  Well, here I am six months later and I certainly do not regret our decision to move! 

I taught in Northern Saskatchewan for 3 years and in the

Prince Albert area for the last 5 years.  During that time, I also had 4 children: Laura is 7 years old, Nicholas is 6 years old, Julia is 3 years old and Marcus is 17 months old.  When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening (I’ll have to find a garden spot somewhere here), camping, fishing, hiking, reading and watching movies. 

I look forward to the year ahead with my awesome Grade 4/5 students!
