Saskatchewan Learning has initiated school community councils as a part of the restructuring of school divisions. The council consists of parents, community members, students, teachers and the principal. Meetings of the SCC are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 11:45 – 1:30 at SCCHS with the annual meeting held each May. Meetings are open to the school community. The role of the SCC is to work in co-operation with the school staff, to develop and to implement the school learning improvement plan. In addition to this duty the SCC is a liaison between the school, parents, guardians, and community.
